The Munitus claims team is highly experienced in handling all aspects of Professional Liability claims and work hand in hand with the underwriting team. This collaboration ensures an increased level of knowledge and insight resulting in a more consistent approach and response to our clients needs. Our philosophy of developing strong relationships extends through our claims team, who, using established market relationships and extensive experience, work directly with brokers and Insureds to provide a knowledgeable and accessible claims offering.

Ryan Smith

Ryan has over 15 years of claims experience in the London Insurance Market and has maintained claims positions within major lead market carriers. Ryan’s predominant area of expertise is within Professional Indemnity (including both ‘open market’ and ‘delegated underwriting’ risks) with a focus on North America along with other jurisdictions including the UK, Australia, Europe and Canada. Ryan has also handled claims in other related fields which include Cyber, General Liability, Trade Credit/Political Risk and D&O. Ryan has an Undergraduate degree in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Affairs.
